About us

Sambhajirao kendre Mahavidyalay Jalkot established in 2001 and the Department of Geography is started with the same. Two faculty members are working in it Asst. prof. Vijay Tidke worked for a year and left it. presently Asst. prof. Musale N.P. and Asst prof. Dr Rathod B.S.are working in the Department.the Department has been a center for study diverse and changing word specially with environmental center. It gives stress on research and practical approach. It organizes tours to geographical places that afford practical education.

It is our vision to render geographical knowledge to our students.we try to imbibe the impact of local environment on social life special with agriculture activities.

Mission

The provision of an undergraduate learning environment that faster the knowledge,skills and experience, necessary to prepare students for life in an ever changing word and to engage inspire in formed global citizens.

Objectives

a. To introduce to the main reasons of the word in terms of both their and uniqueness and similarities. They will thus gain perspective about social and cultural diversity of the world.

b. To make the to learn the relationships between the global,the regionals and the local, particularly how places are inserted in regional and global process.

C. To expose historical,economic, cultural,social and physical characteristics of regions,not able how they came to be there main role and function and how they are changing.

d. To see how human activities and the regional environment interact particularly how society is reflect their regional environment.
