BEST READER AWARD
To enhance the reading habit of the students is target of the library services in higher education. The library and its support the staff are the intimate exchanger of career, life, nation and the global attitude.
The change is the continuous phenomenon having a linear direction of success. We have been continuous proving to find out the sparks of the students to cultivate intellect and moral citizens for nation building. As part of this process, we created a platform of reading response award that is Best Reader Award.
The steps for selection of awardees are as follows:
- This competition remains open from 15th August to 26th January every year.
- The student has to enroll his name by filling one common application form in the library.
- One additional library card will be provided to them, those who wish to participate in the competition.
- A list of popular books will be displayed on the notice board of the library, for the reference the students.
- After completion of reading of any book, student has to submit written short book review in the prescribed format.
- Reviews submitted by the students will be examined by the expert teachers & final result will be prepared.
- Awards distribution function will be annually arranged.
