ABOUT US
Sambhajirao Kendre Mahavidyalaya, Jalkot is established by Jijamata Bhauddeshiya Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Patoda (BK) in the month of June 2001 and the department of Physics was established with classes i.e. PUC & B.Sc. 1st year in the year 2009. Department of Physics shifted in present building during 2012-13. Department was established under the leadership of Dr. Vagshette in 2009.As C.H.B. Dr.. P. G. Hudge worked in this department as C.H.B. for the year 2012-14 ,then after Mr. S. N. More joined from Dec.2014 is working as a Head of the Department of Physics. Department is having one Laboratory Assistant and one Laboratory attendants. Laboratory assistant is assigned the work of maintenance of stock register, yearly stock verification, preparation work of practical etc.

LABORATORIES
Department is now housed in a spacious building which is constructed under UGC assistance. Departmental building comprises two laboratories, a dark room, and laboratory. Dimensions of our laboratories i.e.12 X 10 and 30 X 22, provide sufficient moving space to 24 students working in a single practical batch. Our laboratories are well furnished and have all the physical facilities such as , running water, etc.
